Pergamano is a beautiful parchment craft.  By using various tools and materials on parchment paper you can create cards, decorations and gifts.  The parchment paper is an imitation parchment, it is light grey in colour and is very strong.

The craft is practised world wide but is still not widely known.  Most people are intrigued by the cards when they first see them as they are so unlike anything else available.

Pergamano can be done by all the family, young and old.  Some of the tools are quite expensive because they are very specialised, but once you have them they don't need replacing very often as long as you are careful.  It is a lovely hobby and I have always looked forward to getting new paints, paper or tools for birthdays and Christmas so it makes a superb gift.

There are starter packs available which are not expensive and they soon leave you wanting more.
